Metabay FAQs

Metabay is offering digital passes from your favorite content creators. Each content creator has a maximum of 1,000 digital passes. You can get them on our platform. Once you own a digital pass, you can enjoy a unique connection with the content creator by texting with him in a group chat, getting exclusive content, having video calls every month, and more perks.

Nothing special! You can get your pass using a credit card. You just have to follow the steps to complete the process. You can find our step-by-step tutorial on how to complete the purchase at this link.

Once you get the digital pass, go on one of the creator profiles on Metabay. Below the header section, you will see “Only for holders” where you can access the group chat, the portal to claim perks, and the discord where there will be giveaways. You can sell the digital passes you’ve purchased at any time on marketplaces. The most famous is OpenSea, and you can check our help center to see how to do step by step. We also going to create our own seamlessly integrated marketplace soon.

The rarity is distributed randomly. This is to let everyone have the same chances, without any financial discrimination. After the sale is over, you will have the possibility to trade or buy a pass to other fans from the secondary marketplace where Metabay has no control on the price.

There are different rarity tiers for the pass. Usually Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum but this may vary according to the creator’s preferences. When you get the digital pass from a content creator, the rarity you will get is randomly assigned to give equal chance to all to access a rare one - and not based on the price. All tiers include the connection with the influencer on the group chat, exclusive content, and more. The higher tiers are defined based on each influencer’s set of rewards and benefits. As of now, you can purchase a maximum of 3 passes for a same creator. This will increase your chances to get a pass that has greater rarity, and also enable you to earn further Metabay points in a near future to unlock further rewards (coming soon). There is a limit of 3 passes per person, to let other fans chance to access their own passes.

You will discover the rarity of your pass after the reveal, which happens 2 weeks after the sale, or when the sale is completed - whichever is the soonest. Tropee is the portal we use to allow you claiming perks, rewards, and utilities. You will have to connect your wallet to it - if you purchased using email address & credit card, a paper wallet has automatically been created for you here. Once you’ve completed the purchase, you can view your pass in your wallet. If you checkout using your email address & credit card, you will be created a Paper wallet to view your pass. You can access it here.

At the release of the creator’s sale, you can’t be guaranteed to get a platinum pass since the rarity is distributed randomly. You can buy up to 3 passes to increase your chances of getting platinum. After the sale, you can still purchase passes from other fans on the secondary marketplace.

An NFT is nothing else than a digital object, on the blockchain. It can take the appearance of a picture, but not only. This digital object has a lot of valuable features we are using to provide you with the best experience in connecting with your creators, such as authenticity, traceability, uniqueness, and ownership.

Paper is our checkout partner. If you are paying using email/address and credit card, you will get a Paper wallet created. All your digital passes will be stored there, and you can access them from this link.

You can still buy it on the secondary marketplaces. At the moment, holders can trade it on OpenSea, LooksRare, and other common NFT marketplaces. Soon, we will have our own Metabay marketplace which will be fully simplified and allow you to sell or buy easily.

We don’t provide refunds. Once you purchase a digital pass, it belongs to you. However, You can still trade it with other fans on some open NFT marketplaces - the most common being OpenSea. Soon, we will unveil our own simplified marketplace, where you can trade easily digital passes purchased on Metabay.

At the end of the year, there will be a renewal. The pass you have will guarantee you priority on the renewal over the other fans. You can choose to renew, or trade this pass. You can also choose to keep it for life, even though all the value is consumed.

For all content creators you get a digital pass from, you’ll be guaranteed exclusive access to a group chat with the creator himself/herself and exclusive content. If you are the lucky owner of a Platinum Pass, you will be able to connect monthly with the influencer on a video call. On top of that, you’ll also enjoy multiple perks and rewards tailored to the influencer’s universe. If he’s a football player, it could be tickets to games or signed jerseys. If he’s a chef, it could be an exclusive recipe or gastronomic diner. You’ll get more details on each influencer’s page. Start exploring collections now!

A wallet is a place you will be able to store your digital assets: whether it is your crypto, or NFTs. We have simplified it for you. When you complete a purchase using a credit card & email, it will automatically create a Paper wallet for you. It’s a basic wallet whose only functionalities are to store, use, and transfer your digital passes purchased on Metabay. The wallet belongs to you, and we have no access to it. You can access all perks & rewards with your creator from that easy-to-use wallet.

What you are purchasing is an immersive access to your creator's universe for one year, with perks and values never seen before! You'll be the verifiable owner of 1 or more out of 1,000 unique digital passes from that creator and enjoy continuous perks and connection. On top of that, the digital pass is an asset that belongs to you. You are free to transfer it to someone or trade it at any time. In that way, you may recover partial or full value from it, or even realized gains.

Until the sale is closed, the pass you’ve purchased is “unrevealed”. It means that you can’t yet know the rarity of the pass or passes you got. Once the sale is closed, the final version of the pass you own will be revealed. At this time, you will be able to see which rarity of passes you got. As a reminder, you will have access to more or less perks based on the rarity, which is distributed randomly.

Nothing more simple! Once you’ve purchased the digital pass from your favorite creators, just download or open the Telegram App and follow those simple steps of authentication. The rewards associated with the past last a minimum of one year. The duration is detailed on each creator’s page. As long as you don’t trade it, you are identified as the owner of the access pass and can continue to enjoy the benefits. You can see its status from the creator’s page. “Active” means there are still rewards associated with the pass, and “Expired” means there are no more rewards associated. The pass, even once all the rewards are consumed, will remain yours forever.
